There are more Post-Annual Enrollment questions and answers available!
What do I need to do now that Annual Enrollment is over?
The most important thing to do now is to review your 2025 coverage and elections. You have until December 20, 2024, to make corrections (see FAQs below). Once you’ve confirmed that everything looks right, there may be a few housekeeping items for you to take care of before January. Please review the next steps, described on the Post-Enrollment Actions page, for more information.
How can I review what I elected for 2025?
If you didn’t save your confirmation statement after you submitted your Annual Enrollment task, navigate to Workday and select Menu > Benefits and Pay > expand the Benefits tab > Benefits by Date. Change the date to 01/01/25, and your 2025 elections will appear.
Can I make changes if I find a mistake in my 2025 elections?
Yes, but only for a short period of time. If you find a mistake with your elections, go to Workday > Menu > Benefits and Pay, and on the Overview page, select the Reopen My Open Enrollment button.
Note: If you reopen your enrollment, you will only have one day to complete and submit your enrollment changes. Otherwise, you will need to go through the process above, again.
Don’t delay! After December 20, 2024, we cannot permit changes to your benefits unless you experience a qualifying life event.
When does my new coverage start?
Annual Enrollment coverage updates, including new plans and dependent enrollments, will be transmitted for processing to the benefits carriers in early December. Your new elections and coverage will be effective on January 1, 2025.
I enrolled in SimplePay Health. Do I have to complete the financial agreement to enroll?
If you were enrolled in the SimplePay Health Plan for 2024 and reenrolled in it for 2025: You don’t need to complete the financial agreement again.
If you enrolled in the SimplePay Health Plan for the first time: It’s essential that you complete the financial agreement by November 29, 2024. Otherwise, you won’t remain enrolled in the SimplePay Health Plan. See When Will I Receive an ID Card for more details.

Do I need to submit proof for the dependents I elected?
Workday doesn’t require proof of dependent eligibility, but we do reserve the right to request it, if needed, to support an audit or resolve an inquiry. Keep in mind that if you cover a domestic partner (or their children) on Workday plans, a portion of your contributions will be made after-tax, and imputed income may also apply.
What happens if I have a qualifying life event or address change between Annual Enrollment and 2025?
Marriages, babies, and other life changes happen when they happen, whether it’s Annual Enrollment or not! If this is your situation, submit a qualifying life event to update your 2024 benefits.
Note: Benefits plans rely on effective dates, so you’ll need to process your 2024 change first, even if we’re days away from 2025.
After you’ve completed your 2024 change, your Annual Enrollment task will reprocess and launch to your Workday task box. When that happens, click into the Annual Enrollment task, carefully review your elections for 2025, make any necessary changes, then complete and resubmit the task. You’ll have up to 14 calendar days from the day you receive your Annual Enrollment task to complete and submit it.
I joined Workday in 2024. Do I have to enroll again?
Yes. Going forward, you’ll only need to enroll in benefits once a year (or when you have a qualifying life event), but the elections you make as a new hire in 2024 will only cover you through the end of the year.
Complete your new hire enrollment task first. After that, you can complete and submit your Annual Enrollment task. You’ll have up to 14 calendar days from the day you receive your Annual Enrollment task to complete and submit it. The elections you make as part of the Annual Enrollment task will go into effect on January 1, 2025.
