What happens to my unused FSA funds from the prior year? Do any funds get carried over?
The Health Care FSA allows you to carry over a limited amount of funds from one year to the next. Any unused funds remaining in a Dependent Care FSA at the end of the year are forfeited.
Note: You cannot pay for expenses incurred in 2025 using your new Benepass card. Your new card should only be used for expenses incurred in 2026. Log into your Benepass account to submit claims for 2025 expenses.
When is the deadline to submit claims for expenses from the prior year?
You can submit eligible expenses from the prior year to Benepass through March 31 of the current year.
